Huns are one of the two new tribes that became available starting with the Fire and Sand edition of Travian, along with the Egyptians. They are the most offense-oriented tribe, which offers players a wide variety of troops for attacking other players; however, they have no troops suitable for serious defense.

1. Advantages[]

  • Fast and strong cavalry (High speed, attack, and resource-carry)
  • Merchants can travel at 20 fields/hour
  • Mounted armies with hero are even faster
  • Command center: Improves expansion abilities, protects villages from enemy conquests

2. Disadvantages[]

  • Weak defense provided by wall (easy to destroy and granting little defense) and lack of real defensive units
  • Average defensive troops at best, for high cost
  • Rather expensive troops
  • Merchants can only carry 500 resources as opposed to 750 for Gauls and 1000 for Teutons
